The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, conducted a visit to the headquarters of the National Intelligence Service in the capital, Baghdad. He was received by the head of the agency, along with a number of senior officials and staff members.
His Excellency was briefed on-site on the details of the treacherous attack that targeted the agency’s headquarters yesterday, which resulted in the martyrdom of one of its heroic personnel. He directed the relevant authorities within the agency, in cooperation with other security bodies, to continue a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the attack, uncover the results, and announce to the Iraqi people the party responsible for this disgraceful terrorist act, without hesitation in exposing them and bringing them to justice.
The Prime Minister also held a meeting with the head of the agency, senior staff, and officials, during which he listened to a comprehensive security briefing that included intelligence and field data within the framework of assigned duties and responsibilities.

Minister of Interior: Dismisses security leaders in Al-Mada'in sector and orders their detention following the targeting of Baghdad Airport
